Les pilotes MotoGP™ étaient en piste au Red Bull Ring ce samedi à l'occasion de la FP2 du Grand Prix Motorrad d'Autriche. Comme en Practice, Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) a dominé les débats grâce à un tour bouclé en 1'29.243. Le Champion du Monde en titre devance le wildcard Pol Espargaró (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) ainsi que Marc Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™).

Passé par le bac à gravier au virage 4, Jorge Martín (Prima Pramac Racing) est quatrième devant un excellent Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™), qui se hisse dans le top 5. Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) est sixième devant Alex Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™).
Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) est huitième devant Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia Racing) et Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), qui complète le top 10. Johann Zarco (LCR Honda Castrol) est quant à lui 16e.
La séance de qualifications MotoGP™ du GP d'Autriche se tiendra à 10h50.
