Syarifuddin Azman first arrived on the European scene in 2019, competing in the European Talent Cup where he scored his first points and resulted in him being later called up to compete in the final two races of the JuniorGP™ season. He joined the category full-time to continue his development, and, in 2021, he won a race at the Barcelona fixture. That year, he also debuted on the World Championship stage, replacing John McPhee in the Moto3™ race in Aragon, finishing in 13th place. In 2022, he finished fourth in the JuniorGP™ Championship while he also racked up four more appearances in the Moto3™ class. 2023 sees him join the lightweight class on a full time basis with the MT Helmets – MSI team.
