Zaccone takes pole simulation, Ferrari quickest overall in Barcelona

Testing concludes in Barcelona, with the #61 taking pole in the Q2 simulation, while Ferrari backed up his simulation victory with a fast lap

The FIM MotoE™ World Championship have now concluded testing in Barcelona, with Alessandro Zaccone (Aruba Cloud MotoE Team) taking pole in the qualifying simulation and Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini MotoE) setting the overall fastest lap on Day 3.

Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) was on top in the previous two days of action but lost out on final day honours by just 0.011. In the qualifying simulation, the Italian suffered a crash in Q2, rider ok but missing out on a clean sweep in the time attacks.

Ferrari leaves Barcelona with the race simulation win from Saturday and the timesheet-topping lap from Sunday, Zaccone with the Q2 simulation pole, Casadei with consistent speed, and the likes of Eric Granado (LCR E-Team) and Andrea Mantovani (Klint Forward Factory Team) posting some threatening laps on the timesheets.

The 2025 MotoE season is quickly approaching, with Le Mans set to host the opening round of the season in May.
