Moto3™ was back at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, to start an exhilarating weekend at the Gran Premio Pramac dell’Emilia-Romagna. After the first day of track action, it was Adrian Fernandez (Leopard Racing), who was quickest at the end of proceedings. The #31 had an impressive afternoon, setting a 1:41.071 to place ahead of Daniel Holgado (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3), who secured an encouraging second position – a mere 0.110s adrift. The Spaniard had a great end of the session to beat San Marino GP winner, Angel Piqueras, who completed a great day for Leopard Racing.

It was a damp start to the weekend, with Angel Piqueras (Leopard Racing) topping the timesheets from David Alonso (CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team), as the #36 continued an impressive form after a sensational San Marino GP. Once Practice 1 got underway, Ivan Ortola (MT Helmets – MSI) looked strong in the early stages of the session - briefly topping the standings. Meanwhile, Alonso would steal top honours, attempting to improve as the red flag came out with less than 15 minutes remaining due to track conditions after Jacob Roulstone (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) suffered a second crash of the day.
It was an incredibly strong day for the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP squad, as Collin Veijer and Tatsuki Suzuki rounded out the top five positions. The duo were less than two-tenths adrift from the top spot, beating the impressive Stefano Nepa (LEVELUP – MTA), who completed a positive day in sixth. The Italian was ahead of Ortola, with the #48 setting a 1:41.307 to leap to seventh. Meanwhile, Championship leader Alonso was back in eighth, ending the day 0.244s down with some pace to find on Saturday.
