Valencian rider Vicente Perez came through the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship, doing a few races before a full season in 2015. He scored 15 points, then doubled that in 2016, when he also made his Moto3 World Championship debut in Valencia. In 2017, he stepped it up with three podiums in CEV and finished fourth overall, while wildcarding twice in Moto3 at Jerez and Catalunya. He started 2018 with a podium in CEV, but mid-season got the call to join the Reale Avintia Academy 77 team in Moto3. After a best finish of sixth at Buriram, he stayed with the team in 2019 but lost his seat the next year. Since then, he’s been a regular in the Italian CIV Championship, winning the title in 2023. He’s also raced in WorldSSP 300 and filled in for various teams as a Moto3 substitute. In 2025, he’s still racing in CIV Moto3 and continues to be a go-to replacement in the Moto3 World Championship.
