Sean Dylan Kelly first made his mark over in the Red Bull Rookies Cup from 2016 through to 2018. The American made great progress during his three seasons racing in Europe, finishing his final season tenth overall with a best finish of sixth coming at Assen. He then headed back to his native America and competed in MotoAmerica's Supersport Championship. Two victories and five podiums in 2019 caught the eye of the American Racing Moto2™ squad, and he was handed a wildcard ride at the season finale in Valencia. Five more wins in MotoAmerica the year later saw him finish second in the Championship, before eventually clinching the crown in 2021 thanks to an incredible twelve wins. The American Racing Team came calling once again and offered the talented American a two-year Moto2™ deal starting in 2022. SDK scored two point scoring finishing in his first full campaign on the World Championship stage, and the American will be hoping to build on those results in 2023.
