      A Yoshimura Suzuki and later Kawasaki test rider, Tamaki Serizawa contested an average of two World Superbike races a year between 1995 to 2001, always as a wild card and always on home soil. In 2003, he participated in two MotoGP races (Suzuka and Motegi) with the team MD211VF Proto Moriwaki Racing, again as a wild card, finishing 19th and 18th.
