TIME SCHEDULE: Qatar GP

Never miss a lap from Lusail as we ready for take-off at the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar

Round 4 is on the horizon as MotoGP™ in 2025 gets set to enjoy even more twists and turns at the Lusail International Circuit, just outside Doha. With Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) assuming the Championship lead after brother Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) fell at COTA, the question is whether or not Alex can bag his first premier class win – like so many have done at Lusail – or whether Marc can snatch a first win in Qatar for over a decade. Along with plenty of other unmissable stories, the times for the weekend are locked in.

THURSDAY MEANS PRESS CONFERENCE AND GEARUP

Ahead of the track action starting on Friday, get the inside line on all the stories, starting with the MotoGP GearUp show at 15:30 Local Time (UTC + 3) which will be in the company of Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team). Then, there’s the Press Conference gets underway at 16:00, which will feature both the Marquez brothers and COTA winner from last-time out Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), also the winner 12 months ago at Lusail.

TRACK ACTION IGNITES ON FRIDAY

With it being our only night time schedule of the season, things always look a little different in terms of the schedule at Lusail; starting at 14:00 on Friday afternoon, Moto3™ will get it all off and running whilst MotoGP will hit the track at 15:45 and then again at 20:00, the latter of which determines who is into Q2 directly and who has to go via Q1. Saturday’s action once again gets underway with Moto3 FP2 at 13:30 before MotoGP’s qualifying from 15:40. The Tissot Sprint goes lights out at 20:00 whereas Sunday’s three GPs will be at 17:00 for Moto3, 18:15 for Moto2™ and then MotoGP at 20:00. There will also be two Asia Talent Cup races: one on Saturday at 17:00 and another at 14:35 on Sunday.

So, can anyone topple the Marquez stranglehold in the Championship standings? Will Marc return to the top step at Lusail for the first time since 2014 or will it be his brother Alex, like ex-Gresini riders before him – Enea Bastianini and Fabio Di Giannantonio – who gets his first win in MotoGP under the lights? Don’t miss an apex with motogp.com across the weekend!
