The newcomers guide to the Red Bull Ring

The MotoGP riders are ready for the adventure - see how you can prepare too

The Red Bull ring has provided with an important adventurer's guide of the circuit to newcomers, beginning with this checklist:

  • MotoGP ticket - if you don't have a ticket, stop by the box office
  • Personal ID, wallet and camera
  • Mobile phone with charger
  • Sunscreen & rain protection

EASY ARRIVAL

The most relaxing, affordable and environmentally friendly way to get to the Red Bull Ring is by bus, train or bicycle. A traffic guidance system along the access roads will make it easier for fans to get to the parking spaces, which are free of charge for MotoGP visitors

The biker cloakrooms (P4) are ideal for dropping off the motorcycle clothing. Visitors can also drop off larger bags that are not allowed at the grandstands. The fee is 15 euros per day or 35 euros for the entire weekend.

If you are camping at the site and arrive later, delays and diversions are to be expected.

ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME AT ITS BEST

Numerous highlights await fans in the MotoGP Bike City, the side event stronghold at the Spielberg.

Visitors can look forwards to spectacular stunts at the Red Bull Masters of Dirt FMX Shows, impressive stuntshows by Adrian Guggemos on his trial bike as well as DJ and music acts on the event stage.

"Meet the Riders" also takes place here from Thursday to Saturday - one of many programme items that enable MotoGP fans to experience the riders of the world championship up close.
