We’ve arrived in the beautiful green hills of Spielberg for the eleventh round of the 2024 MotoGP™ season with a fiery championship fight in our hands!
Don’t think that the action only happens on track – Red Bull Ring is presenting you with a wide array of activities akin to a festival atmosphere with top names, all within the MotoGP™ Bike City located directly behind the Steiermark grandstand.
The gates of fan zone will open on Thursday August 15th at 12 PM, and the party will continue until 6 PM on Sunday.
THE MUSIC ACTS
Austrian singers Alexander Eder and Granada will not only be performing on stage on Friday but will also have a prominent role to play in Sunday’s proceedings when they will perform their own unique interpretation of Austria’s national anthem ‘Land der Berge’. On Saturday, the music main eventers are cover bands U2 TRIBUTE Achtung Babies and KISS FOREVER.
THE SHOWSTOPPERS
There’s more 2-wheel activity to find, with freestyler Adrian Guggemos delivering his daredevil Trial Stunt Shows in the middle of the fan zone. On Friday he will show his stunt show in front of the KTM grandstand, on Saturday it will take place on the start-finish straight and on Sunday it’s between Turn 1 and Turn 2.
Guggemos is joined by the Red Bull Masters of Dirt FMX Show, hosting some of the world’s top freestyle motocross high-flyers looking to raise the stakes with spectacular stunts and tricks.
MEET THE RIDERS
If you ever wanted to shoot questions to your favourite MotoGP™ riders, there’s a great chance to do it on the Fan Zone Stage. On Thursday, riders from the Moto2™ and Moto3™ classes will be on the rostrum to spend some time with the fans, before turning the bastion to the MotoGP™ riders on Friday and Saturday.
THE HERO WALK
You also have the chance to get autographs and take selfies with all riders at the MotoGP™ Hero Walk, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday mornings in front of the Welcome Center of the Red Bull Ring.
TISSOT SPRINT PARTY
The chequered flag waves by the end of the Tissot Sprint on Saturday, but it doesn’t mean the fun stops. This year, the post-race celebrations will be on the MotoGP™ Bike City, where the top 3 will be right at the heart of the fan zone. Don’t miss the chance to show your support as Just Julian provides the soundtrack of the day!
RACE OF MOPEDS
We’re kickstarting this race weekend on Thursday with a twist – fans will be able to race against the MotoGP™ roster on mopeds, celebrating the long-lasting Austrian tradition of moped riding.
Don’t miss the chance to see this unparalled experience from one of the open grandstands at 2:45 PM.
