Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) has taken charge of the 2023 Championship standings following his fourth consecutive Sprint victory, and has the chance to make it four doubles on the bounce if he can pull off a Grand Prix victory on Sunday. It's been action since the word go at the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, so we've compiled together 10 things you need to know ahead of race day!
- After passing through Q1, Marini has qualified on pole for the first time in MotoGP™ (setting a new all-time lap record at Mandalika), becoming the third rider to qualify on pole from Q1 so far this year, along with Marc Marquez in Portugal and Alex Marquez in Argentina. However, he will have to serve a Long Lap penalty during the race, given after the Turn 1 collision in the Sprint in India.
- Viñales has qualified second, equalling his best qualifying result with Aprilia from Silverstone last year and Austria this year.
- On pole here last year, Quartararo has qualified fourth, equalling his best qualifying so far this season from the Dutch TT. He finished P5 in the Sprint and will now be aiming to stand on the podium for the third time this year along with Americas and India when he finished P3 in both

- Martin will now be aiming to take his fifth MotoGP™ win along with Styria 2021, Germany 2023, San Marino 2023 and Japan 2023.
