Valentino Rossi recovering from motocross injury

Nine-time World Champion diagnosed with no fractures after hospital check up with further updates on Friday

Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) was involved in a motocross training accident at the Cross Club Cavallara in Mondavio on Thursday evening, and the Italian rider was taken to a local hospital for a medical check-up following the incident. Rossi was diagnosed with mild thoracic and abdominal trauma, with no fractures detected in any part of the body and no serious traumatic pathologies.

A further medical bulletin will be issued on Friday, 26th May, at 12:00 hrs CET.
