Fahrer-Geschichte

Adrian Huertas, born in 2003, began his journey in 2010 after beginning to learn on minibikes. Huertas began to race, experiencing success in junior categories across Spain before 2018 saw a breakthrough year for the Spanish rider. He would enter the European Talent Cup and would secure a best result of 12th in Barcelona. Huertas would not participate in every round after he competed in the now-named JuniorGP™ class at MotorLand Aragon in 2018. Alongside these efforts, Huertas was selected for the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup, adapting quickly to the machines and tracks, with a best result of seventh. 2019 saw an improvement in his results after a fourth place finish at the Red Bull Ring would catch the eyes of teams inside the WorldSBK paddock. He was then signed to race in the WorldSSP300 Championship in 2020, learning the bike and gaining the valuable experience needed for the future. This set the #99 up nicely for 2021, securing victory at the opening round of the season before taking a further five wins throughout the season to clinch the WorldSSP300 Championship. His title success prompted a move to WorldSSP for 2022, instantly showing potential after taking 13 top 10 finishes throughout the year, seeing Huertas remain with MTM Kawasaki for another year. Results improved in 2023, and with a best finish of fourth, he was signed to join the Aruba.it Racing WorldSSP Team for 2024, with his sights set on victory. The Spanish rider had a remarkable campaign, grabbing 10 victories to become the WorldSSP Champion at the final round. Now, he is preparing for a new goal after catching the attention of the Italtrans Racing Team, who have signed Huertas to race in the Moto2™ World Championship in 2025.
