Kev Coghlan takes on his first full season in the World Championship in 2011 with the Aeroport de Castelló Moto2 team, under the management of experienced campaigner turned Team Manager Alex Debón.

A former MotoGP Academy participant, Coghlan rode a single wildcard entry at Donington in 2005 and the first two races of the 2007 season, and also finished fourth in the CEV Buckler (Spanish National Championship) 125GP category in 2006. It was the Spanish Championship where the Scot honed his Moto2 skills in 2010, ending the season third and having ridden World Championship wildcards at Silverstone and Aragón before confirmation of a permanent seat for 2011 under the guidance of Debón.
