Alex Marquez quickest as Acosta crashes ahead of Spanish GP

The Spaniard was fastest ahead of Bastianini and Miller as a red flag brings an early end to the session

It fast Warm Up session, with Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) quickest on Sunday morning, after setting a 1:37.943. The #73 was ahead of Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo Team), who was a mere 0.176s behind in second on a good start to Sunday for the Italian. Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) will be hoping for redemption on Sunday after a disappointing Sprint, ending Warm Up in third. The Aussie set five times across the session, finishing ahead of Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse Racing), who showed great pace in the Sprint and on Sunday morning - ending the session in fourth place. Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) rounded out the top five in Warm Up after ending the session 0.288s off the top spot.

There was high drama on Sunday morning when Pedro Acosta (Red Bull GASGAS Tech3) crashed at turn 7 during the 10-minute session. Seconds later, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing) had a crash of his own at turn 8, with the red flag being shown to bring a premature end to the session.
